Every year, the Office of the Attorney General hires law students as interns. An internship usually lasts four weeks, and we host 10\u201312 interns a year. Their duties consist of researching legal issues, drafting statements of case and pleas, and working alongside the lawyers in other ways. It is also a goal to give all interns an opportunity to assist in at least one court case. The internship is a good way of getting to know the work of the Office, and many interns have later been hired as trainee lawyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We carry out two application rounds a year, with deadlines for application in spring and autumn. Applicants should have completed exams in the third year of study or the equivalent, with good results. The internship scheme is only aimed at current students, not those who have already graduated. Students who are in their final semester at the time of application will therefore not be given priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next deadline for applications is 30 October 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
